Prayer for the Mind

Jehovah-Repheka, The Lord is Healer,

My heart is overwhelmed within me. Overwhelmed with the joy of salvation through Jesus Christ, overwhelmed you healed and delivered me from my sins (John 3:5, 16, Romans 10:9). I pray to be first at the tomb (Psalm 5:3) sitting at your cross, waiting to hear from You, prepared to anoint you with my prayers, hopes, joys, struggles, triumphs and defeats. I know you have a plan for me; a plan to prosper and not fail, a plan to grow and not wither, a plan to teach and not withhold anything good thing from your Kingdom (Jeremiah 1:5, Ephesians 1:11, Psalm 1:1-3). Strengthen my spirit to follow your voice (Matthew 4:19, John 10:1-10). Strengthen my heart to forgive and love those you have placed in my life who may not believe me (Matthew 5:43-44, Luke 23:34). Strengthen me to stand firm in my belief and boast only in the name of Jesus of Nazareth (Galatians 6:14).

I thank you for your precious blood on the cross; I thank you for your unfailing love and I thank you for choosing me. I thank you for seeing something in me no one else can see. You’ve seen what I can be and not what I am today. Thank you for not seeing the broken, clutter, confused, confound mind and body, but a free spirit who you can use for Your glory. I’ve been set free from __________________ (Galatians 5 or Mark 7:20 lists things that can make a man unclean). I thank you for seeing beyond the sin, delivering me from death and allowing me to boldly go and tell. I will spread this precious seed, which is still growing throughout the Earth (Colossians 1:6). May I be a woman to offer my body as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God – this my spiritual act of worship. I will not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of my mind. Then I will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – His good, pleasing and perfect will for my life (Romans 12:1-2).

Since, I have been raised with Christ, I want to set my heart on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. I will set my mind on things above, not on earthly things (Colossians 3:1-2). With regard to my former way of life, help me to put off my old self, which was corrupted by deceitful desires; I am new in the attitude of my mind and will put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness (Ephesians 4:22-23). May I always be determined to know the power of your resurrection, and give my whole heart to You! In Jesus name I pray, amen.
